La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh/Durham Southpoint

The ambiance of the entire hotel is modern & clean. Rooms are designed to confer privacy from beds to living room area. Bathroom is good size, functional, & aestically beautiful. Staff is friendly & knowledgeable. Buffet is GENEROUS, DELICIOUS, & Vegetarian Friendly including details like real freshly cut fruit, white chocolate chips, whipped cream, array of bagels with a variety of cream cheese. The cost savings of feeding a family such an upscale breakfast, easily offsets the cost of the room. Would definitely recommend.

My 5th floor room was super quiet and close to everything. No complaints. Front desk staff was nice. On the first floor by the elevators, the door is broken, so you cannot use the side entrance. There is also an unsightly leaking ceiling that should probably be hidden with a room divider. Its disgusting. Room was clean but I still wipe down the doorknobs, remotes, desks and light switches with disinfectant. On another note, i happened to throw away some clothes and the staff went through my garbage and took the clothes. Very weird.

Upon arrival meet the front desk personnel, Ms. Damecia she was very pleasant and professional. The room was very clean and spacious. No disturbance whatsoever any of the other guests. Highly recommended.

Room was large and very comfortable. Only criticism would be that the complementary breakfast was not as good as other hotels that I have visited. There were no forks only knives and spoons to eat my breakfast.

Rooms were clean but didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator. It’s a smoke free hotel but you still have inconsiderate people that smoke weed in their room. Our room smelled like weed all night and next day because of someone smoking next door

We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights September 13-16th. We have to leave an amazing review from employee who works there because she should be recognized for all her hard work and dedication for keeping the hotel guests happy. Gloria works wonders preparing, organizing, and keeping up the breakfast area. She was always super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was nice to have such a pleasant person around in the mornings showing us where everything is. She also kept the hallways smelling so great every morning/afternoon.

Extremely nice people all around. Beautiful hotel. Clean and smells great unlike other hotels that look great but smell weird!! Haha. But seriously. Great hotel. Like all hotels they have rules but as long as you follow them and are respectful they aren’t up your butt and naggy like other high quality hotels. Breakfast is great too. Only thing is my fridge didn’t work but ehh I didn’t say anything because it didn’t bother me. Thanks for being a great hotel

After reading the reviews I was nervous but our room was very clean and smelled very sanitized. The bathroom was beyond clean. The bed was very comfy even the pillows were great. Not complaining I would of just preferred curtains to make the room completely dark. The selection for breakfast was great. The young lady working the desk was a doll. Suggestion would be contact owner or property manager before that leak by the elevator causes some serious structure issues or electrical problems. I would stay again regardless.
